For Discount Storage Insurance, we identified that key user actions, like plan selection, form submissions, and completed purchases, weren’t being captured accurately, if at all. We audited the existing GTM + GA4 setup, resolved broken or missing tags, and then engineered a 9-step custom event funnel in GA4. Each critical touchpoint, from selecting a storage type to submitting payment, was precisely mapped using Google Tag Manager with tailored triggers and naming conventions. This enabled real-time insights into where users were dropping off and where conversions were happening — creating the foundation for performance-driven marketing and remarketing strategies.
StorageTreasures presented a more complex challenge: their event tracking existed only in development, not in production meaning years of valuable data were disconnected from decision-making. We started by migrating historical data safely into the live GA4 environment without loss. Then, we developed a robust sales funnel tailored to their unique bidding and storage rental process. To guarantee precision at the most critical point the purchase we built a server-side POST API integration that pushed CRM-verified purchase data directly into GA4. This ensured not only accuracy, but true backend-to-analytics alignment that’s essential for high-stakes revenue attribution.
